One year down!

 

It's official, today marks Matt's and I one year anniversary . March 29,2013. That was the day I couldn't wait for! Matt propsed in December of 2012. And we were engaged for 3 months ! I can't believe we've been married for a year now. It has gone by so fast ! I'm so glad I married Matthew. I feel so lucky and blessed! 

That morning of our wedding day, I was so happy and excited and a bit nervous. I woke up as Martinez and was going to bed as a Brown . Is it weird to remeber what I had for breakfast too? Ha 

Our wedding day was perfect, it was a beautiful sunny day! I remeberd it snowed a few days before! And I was hoping it didn't happen on our day. ( and it didn't (: 

We were sealed for all time and eternity at the Salt Lake Temple at 12:20pm. I cried like a baby, my heart felt so full of excitement and so much love. I LOVE Matt so much it hurts. I'm so happy I get to be with him not in this life but in the next ! 

Happy anniversary my sweet husband! 

 Here's to another year, and many more! 

  

Freakin' Weekend

Let's talk about weekends, who doesn't love weekends. Weekends are made for us to to recover from our busy weeks from school or work. Weekends are to be out with friends or family. And that's exactly what we did. This weekend was a blast! 

We started the weekend off with a masquerade party down in Provo! It was so fun! It kinda felt like prom to me . Ha Matt was the prom date I never had,and I know he was totally made for me! I love dancing, and man can my husband move! He so cute ! And I was so happy when i asked him if we can go, he said yes right away! (: Yeah I went to prom, but I went with all my girl friends. And that was so fun too! But we know we all want a boy to go with for prom. 

So at the masquerade,We went with our friends and my sister and her friends. It was fun! And after dancing the night away we went to Ihop . And man were we exhausted .

Saturday! Boy was I excited for Saturday too! So for those who don't know,my husband served a mission in Moscow, Russia for The Church of Jesus christ of Latter Day Saints for 2 years. And now since he's been home for 2 years now, he gets to have mission reunions. And they are super fun! Not only because we get to do fun things like go to his presidents cabin, but because everytime 

 we go, we all sit down and we get to hear those that recently came back from their mission and share what's new. And I can always feel the spirt and how important it is to share the gospel with others. And the happiness it brings us. So this Saturday we had another mission reunion . And it was fun hanging out with Matt's mission friends and their wife's/girlfriends.

Matt could control the lights in the movie theater and around the house with just an iPad . 

 I loved the ceiling in the movie theater. 

We can also go rock climbing in his cabin. 

And this was our highlight of the day... 

             Snowmobiling! 

 

 

I also love that fact that I get to meet new friends! I love this girl! Too bad they live 4 hours away!!:(

After some more fun, we all got in the hot tub. (There's more peeps missing) 

 

And some did some swimming(: now you can see why this weekend was so fun! 

And now we're enjoying some family time dancing and talking and eating(:

Hump day

Finally it's Wednesday! 

Do you like Wednesdays? I guess I do, it's the middle of the week

And you're closer to the weekend and farther from Monday. 

Today has been a good day, I worked half a day, and I'm glad i did! Because man it was slow. 

( I work at a bank as a teller) 

And I just found out I'm a Supervisor now! And I'm recently the new vault custodian.. 

Which I don't know how to feel about it.

They trust me,maybe? 

After work I went out with my husband and sister to do a little shopping for and

Event we will be attending this weekend. 

Which I can't wait to tell you all,all about it ! 

And so now, here I am 

Sitting in the library at the lds business college with my sister

As she rights her essay about credit cards 

And telling me about her drama, because who doesn't like some good 

DRAMA

While the hubs is in his class. 

And since they are both busy I'm trying 

To look busy by updating my blog.

Goodbye February

Happy March you guys! So last month was good! Nothing exciting happened to be honest. But i did change my Blog name to "The Brownies" because this blog is about my husband and I and we're the Browns,and one day when we have our kids of our own they will be team brownie (:  

       

February: I hung out with my sister in law. Watch " Happy Valetines Day" because duh. It's the month of love . It was fun. Just us . Ha 

    Matt and I went to Asian City to find fortune cookies for our nephews birthday party, if you haven't been there it's pretty awesome ! It's off of 90th south and 1600 W ? But you should go. And just as I thought I found the biggest pot... I found this huggeeeee one! I can totally have a feast of tamales or something Mexican , because we like too cook and have lots of food.

       So the night before Valetines I decided to make some treat for my coworkers. I made some heart shaped white chocolate covered rice crispeese . They were pretty good!! 

    And that  Valetines morning as I arrived at work, I found these pretty flowers on my work station(: 

    Then when I got home that night, I found these deliciousness!! Chocolate coverd strawberrrys that my sweet man actually took  his time to make them, and I ate almost all of them in like less than 30min .( he was surprised how quickly I was eating them) 

        Okay, so if you like sushi you need to visit this place that Matt and I went to the night of love day. "Itto Sushi" it was sooo good! I really recommend that place, the wait is kinda long, but the food is great! They don't just make sushi(incase you don't like it...boo!) This place is located  on 856 E fort union blvd.The people there are so kind. It's like a small family business . But yummy place . 

    I also went  to dinner with my sister downtown Sakt Lake. At " Eva " that place is a small plate restaurant . Meaning small servings . It was good too! 

     It was my fathers birthday in the month of February . I love my old man. He's so cute! (: 

     I also faced timed with my baby . My little brother. 

One Sunday it was a beautiful warm day, we got to snuggle and play with our nieces and nephew.
