Happy Monday! I cannot believe how fast this year is going by already!I love it because I get to meet my little babe in July and kinda hate it because time just goes by so fast that I know I will want time to slow down once he is here.
I am 24 weeks and 5 days pregnant! And can feel this little guy move a lot and getting stronger too, I've noticed he moves more while I'm driving and at night before going to bed. He likes to hangout on my right side of my tummy and loves to sit on my bladder. I don't know how many times I have to use the restroom during the day. And I hear it gets worse. (YIKES) But you know, I'm loving being pregnant, This beautiful experience I would not change it for anything!
My weeks go by fast but are exhausting, I work part time and go to school as well. I will be done with this semester in just 2 weeks!! whoop whoop! I cannot wait! This means I will have more time to focus on baby! This past weekend my sweet husband got the Nursery ready, by ready I mean he moved the guest bed to Matt's office, and now Matt's office will be down stairs in the basement. we have a room down there, oh! and we also got our theater room pretty much done as well. I'll show ya some pictures soon.
Anyway, I am really excited to get this baby room ready! Matt put up the crib Saturday. It's kinda unreal to see it in the room. Like is this really happening?! I will post about the baby room as we progress.. at the moment I am just trying to decided on the colors I want to paint. ( heading more towards neutral colors)
What have I been craving lately? This past week I craved strawberries and Grapefruit and fruit smoothies, and pickles! haha
Today, I had my 4 week check up. I love my doctor! every time I go in I get an ultrasound and actually get to see this little peanut grow. But this time I didn't. She just used the Doppler to hear his heartbeat. I love to hear that sound. Doctor says he is looking great and healthy!which makes me a happy mama to be! Next month I get to take the glucose test. You know, the one where you take a really sweet drink and then get tested to see if you have diabetes. Sounds like so much fun!
Anyway, We are doing great and I am feeling great! Just looking forward to the day we will meet this little guy that is growing in my tummy! Also, enjoy this 24 week belly picture. Just no judging please. This may be the only picture you'll see of my bare belly. ;)
