THE LUCKY ONE

So you know the whole thing after you get married you start getting baby hungry or want a puppy next? Yup, that's me. Except I kinda wanted both things. A baby and a puppy. Although one thing for sure my husband and I were both not EVEN ready for a baby.  we've only been married for a year and two months . So after talking with my husband we decided maybe a dog would be a good idea . For Christmas '13 I kept telling Matt I wanted a puppy so bad! That even when we would go to a store and walk by the puppy isle I would tell him "it's a sign! We need a pup" but then I would say the same thing about babies.  So to make that  story short, Matt didn't get my a dog for Christmas. (Sad day) but I understood why we didn't. We weren't ready for one yet. We both had busy schedules . Who would trane our puppy while we're gone for almost the whole day. Who would play with him?so obviously no dog .
Any way, Friday April 25th I came home from work and I see my husband and my sister-in-law on the computer, and as I got closer I see them looking at dogs for sale on KSL. So quickly I ask "what are you guys doing?" By this point it was no secret for dog searching and I knew Matt was thinking of getting us a dog for my birthday.(which isn't till June) so us three we're looking at puppies, we saw some really cute ones and ugly ones.(sorry) and have you guys realized that people that put up pictures of there dogs aren't great!! If you want to sell your dog, show a good picture of him/her. I guess when they're puppies they move a lot . Anyway... Where was I? So everytime we would find a pup we were intersted my sister-in-law would tell us to call and that's the dog we're brining home! But when we would called for one dog that we did like, they didn't have him anymore. So no luck. We kept searching just to see if there was any puppy we would love. And still, no luck.
After searching for a while, we stopped searching and started looking at other things. After few minutes of that, I asked Matt to go back to ksl and search some more, so we did. I was searching this time. Page by page, and there he was a cocka poo(cocker spaniel mixed with a poodle) for sale. Brown little fur ball! The only problem was, they lived in clearfield, which is like two and a half hours away! My sister-in-law insisted that we should call either way to find out if they still have him. So we made her call. And little did we know they were in Provo with the dog. This meant we only had to drive 40 minutes for this pup! So Matt and I looked at eachother and talked a little to see if this was our dog. I mean timing was perfect! Matt was done with school, he's working from home until June! He can be with him while I work. Soo, being Me the puppy lover, I told Matt I just wanted to drive out to see him! (Bad idea I know) and we did! We were both so nervous haha getting a puppy is a huge deal, it's like almost having a baby. (Kinda) so we met the owner at Golden Corral. When we got there she brought the puppy out, and i remeber thinking he's the cutest thing !!! He was so calm . So after seeing him Matt and I went back to the car to talk some more. Yup he's ours! He's coming home! We quickly went to a bank got the money out, got the pup. And I was so happy and couldn't believe we were brining him home that I cried of happiness!! We love Max so much! We didn't expect to get a dog anytime soon. We didn't wake up knowing we were going to search for a puppy that day. But I'm glad we did. He's seriously brings Matt and I much more happiness in our home, even when he drives us nuts! We are  happy parents :)
