Delicate Arch, Moab UT

Matt surprised me with a trip to Moab Thursday night.
I had no idea about this trip, he had this planned for the past month or so.
Iv'e never been to Moab and to be able to go and go Sky Diving there
was just simply amazing!
We left Friday after work, since it's not far of a drive.
We arrived at our Hotel and then walked on Main Street.
It was so busy, we walked to a restaurant and had dinner,
after dinner we got in our swim suits and sat on the Hot tub.
The next morning, we woke up anxious and nervous to was
was going to happen next.
The main reason why we took this trip was to go Sky Diving,
but i'll be posting about that experience on my next post,
that deserves its own post :)
(so stay tuned for that!!)
Anyway, after Sky diving we drove out to Delicate Arch.
Which is the place Moab is known for.
We parked at the start of the hiking trail and went up.
It's amazing to see these red rocks.
It's amazing the creations God made for us and to be able to enjoy them.

So I thought the rock behind my fingers, looked like the last three fingers of a hand.
So I had to take a picture haha

It was a Good Day!

A week at Lake Powell

Once again! We got to spend a week at lake Powell with my family, it's only my second time in my life that I've been at this beautiful place! I love Lake Powell. I love it's warm waters. Seriously, Lake Powell is the only lake I really don't mind swimming in. I get cold so easily. I do get cold when I first get in, but after playing in the water. It's so much warmer to be in the water than out. I love it! Night swims are the best too! We did a lot of fishing! A Lot! We showed our nephew how to fish and he was hooked! (See what I did there) he loves fishing. He got quite a few that we even ate one of the ones he caught! We also played in the water did some tubing and sking. As well with going through a canyon. It's so pretty!

This kid kills me!!

Matt floated in the water and fished! It took him about an hour to catch this small one!

Those lines that are in the middle of the canyon, that's how high the water used to be. And this part of the lake is only 200ft deep.

Oh! And my sister got engaged while we were gone. So happy for them!! Next up, planning the wedding!!
