So a couple weeks ago, like the beginning of August, my mom and sister came up with the idea to go to Lake Tahoe. That meant a last minute trip. My parents only live 3 hours away from Tahoe when we only live 8 hours away.. Well anyway, we decided to do it! It took us a week to find a condo to stay at, but we found one! We left Friday after work and arrived around 9ish. Mom had a delicious dinner waiting for us. After dinner we played games. Saturday, we spent the whole day out by the lake. We visited Emarld bay and went kayaking. That evening we took naps and showered to visit the toursty side of South Lake Tahoe. Where all the shops and restaurants are. Unfortunately we had to head back to Salt Lake Sunday. We got up Sunday and spent the day at the beach. (I also want to mention I had migraines and horrible cough that weekend too, it sucked) other than being sick I had a great time with my family. It was so great to see them! And we will be doing this annually but staying longer than just the weekend.
